Recent Happenings

I have been baking quite a bit since we have been here...

But the good news is that we can get about this many groceries for like $15!

Sometimes we go to a church that is almost 200 years old, which is a pretty cool experience. We have to ride a bus there and back, which is great opportunity for language listening and/or sleeping.

Ronnie has really been enjoying his NBA league pass in his spare time. That, or watching more language videos...

We see this view almost every day. We have to take this tram to our community center. It is slightly less exciting to wait for when it is raining or snowing.

The other day, when we hung out with some local friends at the mall, I saw a cute little puppy in a petstore! Dogs are very rare here as they are just not suitable pets for city and apartment living. There is an overabundance of cats, but there is nothing like a good puppy...
