Date Time!

We went on another date - a place I have already shared with you all but it is so beautiful and the sun was setting, we needed to take more pictures to share! It is one of our favorite spots so far.

Happy Holidays

I know it is a little late but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Joneses! (Some special family pics from our visit, plus one of us in our new home)

The New Mr. and Mrs.!

Recently, we took a trip back to the states for my sister's wedding!!! I can't believe it came and went so quickly, but we had some great times with friends and family during the short stay. Since they have already opened their gifts, I can share what I made for them in honor of this celebratory occasion.

Congrats Mashley! and no prob about the photobomb Rach =)

Christmas in (the other) CA!

Here is a little glimpse into our home this season. It really helps it to feel like home when the atmosphere is warm, it smells like vanilla, and there are twinkle lights! Yay for Christmas.

Oh the Places You'll Go...

We have had a couple chances recently to do some sightseeing! Fortunately, our city has many interesting things to see, so we wanted to share some with you.

On this day, we walked out of the house and realized that we were both wearing gray beanies, black jackets, jeans, and the same brand/style of shoes! Does that mean we are spending too much time together?

Feed the birds... and we will try to rip you off and make you pay a fortune!

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire =), and one of our favorite lunch places.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from the Joneses! I hope your day was as restful and wonderful as ours was. We are missing you all very much during this time...

We went to a get-together with some friends. I was responsible for making and bringing the green bean casserole. Considering I had to substitute canned green beans with frozen, canned soup with powdered, and I had to make the french-fried onions from scratch, I think it turned out pretty decent!

Our spread and feast was full and complete! Stuffing, home-made rolls, turkey, gravy, green bean casserole, salad, mashed potatoes, carrot souffle, cider, coffee, desserts, and much more!

We sang songs and created a thankfulness tree.

Trip to the Water

We went on a date and took public transportation to a nearby "beach". It was pretty beautiful.

I topped the date off with some pistachio ice cream - sooo good!
